Best museum around. The exhibits are great and the auditorium rental is the best price around. Every room of this 3-story building is filled wall-to-wall with historical artifacts, antiques, collectibles, clothing, personal belongings, furnishings, & tools of various trades, mostly from the area around Palestine. Even a log cabin was moved inside here. The staff are very knowledgeable, very helpful, & more friendly. A must for every museum lover traveling anywhere in this region. The museum host various music events each year including “The Crossing, Palestine” A free Christian music festival. Wonderful educational museum!! So many fascinating pieces of history to see.
